Marketing Analyst

About This Role

This role supports sales and marketing functions by analyzing revenue, service, and customer data. The Marketing Analyst contributes to the commercial aspects of network optimization and service product management, working with peers to develop sales and marketing insights and tools for revenue growth and cost reduction. Collaboration with Finance ensures continuity in financial and economic analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate data, report, and maintain files on key reporting metrics and dashboards
• Contribute to network optimization and product offering strategy, including data manipulation, summarization, and visualization for key decision-makers
• Perform ad hoc analysis related to business unit strategies, customer strategies, business segment strategies, and terminal strategies
• Perform miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
• 1 or more years of experience in Data Analysis
• Technically proficient in querying data and designing reports
• Knowledge of SAS, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access), and Business Intelligence tools
• Ability to analyze and synthesize large, complex data sets and provide insights to advance business objectives
• Project management skills, strong business acumen, and leadership skills
• Sound time management and attention-to-detail
• Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
• Process improvement skills
• Project management skills for a cross-functional context
• Ability to think analytically
• Ability to develop written and presentation material for broad audiences (a writing sample will be required as part of the interview process)
• Ability to effectively influence stakeholders without direct authority
• Ability to establish rapport and relationships with individuals at multiple levels internally and externally
