Maritime Planner

About This Role

This role involves coordinating crew changes for seagoing vessels in various European ports, requiring quick decision-making and strong organizational skills. The position suits a planner who can keep operations running smoothly from start to finish in a dynamic international environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew changes in Dutch and international ports
• Organize transport, hotel stays, and other travel arrangements
• Arrange and check documents, visas, and medical appointments
• Maintain contact with clients, suppliers, crew members, and other involved parties
• Process and check data in the system
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks
• Handle incoming phone calls and emails

Requirements

• MBO+ or HBO (vocational or higher professional education) working and thinking level
• Good command of Dutch and English
• Work accurately and maintain an overview, even when busy
• Strong communication skills and easily switch between different parties
• Willingness to work evening and weekend shifts with colleagues

Nice to have:

• Experience in planning, logistics, customer service, or administrative coordination
