Maritime Marketing Manager

About This Role

This role is for a Marketing Manager to join the Sales & Marketing Division of a leading designer and manufacturer of advanced naval vessels and maritime defense solutions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding the company's international business and developing strategic customer relationships. It suits an experienced and highly motivated professional with a focus on maritime defense solutions worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and expand new international markets and business opportunities
• Generate and qualify new business leads while establishing long-term relationships with customers, government organizations, naval forces, shipyards, and industry partners
• Lead the complete sales process, from opportunity identification through contract award
• Coordinate and manage communication with local representatives, agents, consultants, and strategic partners
• Prepare commercial and technical proposals in close cooperation with engineering, program management, finance, production, and other internal departments
• Support the development and execution of global marketing and business development strategies
• Represent Israel Shipyards at international exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings, and official delegations
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of naval vessels, maritime defense systems, and customer operational requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering & management, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognized academic institution
• Minimum of three years of experience in the marketing and sales of defense products or other complex industrial systems within a medium-sized or large organization
• Strong business development mindset with a proven ability to identify opportunities and generate qualified sales leads
• Excellent analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills
• Solid financial and business acumen
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent technical and business writing skills
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, including presentation preparation and delivery
• Willingness to travel extensively internationally and work flexible hours as required
• High level of integrity, professionalism, initiative, and commitment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and multiple organizational interfaces

Nice to have:

• Master's degree in business administration (MBA), Economics, or related discipline
• Graduate of the Israeli Navy Officers Course with significant operational naval service
