HMB Marine Electrical is one of Auckland's premier marine electrical companies, and we're looking for a great electrician to join our crew.
Top hourly rates - up to $50 p/hr for the right person.

To be considered for this position, you'll need to demonstrate:
- Marine Electrical experience or a current Electrical Registration / Licence
- A current Driver Licence
- A keen interest in the marine industry
- Working knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Self-motivation and a strong work ethic
- Excellent problem-solving, fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers
- A positive, can-do attitude and pride in your workmanship
An understanding of boat systems such as navigation, communications, plumbing, hydraulics, propulsion and mechanical engineering will also be an advantage.
You'll work on a wide variety of vessels, from mega to mini, and learn specialist skills along the way. We're flexible, we're a friendly team, and we'll give you the opportunity to develop your knowledge across the full range of marine systems - including smart systems, solar, navigation, communication and battery systems.
If you're coming across from residential, commercial or auto electrical work, we'll support you as you build your marine knowledge.
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position.
