Set up, operate and maintain Wire-EDM Machines. Perform simple troubleshooting of machines, read and follow established procedures and work instructions, and perform risk assessment and take corrective actions as well as preventive measures.
Key responsibilities

- Perform simple troubleshooting of machines
- Read and follow established procedures and work instructions
- Perform risk assessment and take corrective actions as well as preventive measures
- Maintain day to day 6S lean activities to create a safe work environment
- Work cross functional to support the various manufacturing processes
- Participate in the EH&S programs and takes personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence
- Support the continuous improvement programs, CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities and additional tasks assigned by the supervisor
About you
- NITEC in Precision, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience in EDM / CMM machine Operation and Maintenance experience
- 2 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Precision Engineering or Machining
- Comfortable with hands-on work to operate with the tools and equipment
- Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP)
- Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands-on approach
- Willing to work permanent night shift and overtime on need basis
- EDM machining skills and knowledge (preferred)
- Relevant experience in operating CMM measurement machines (preferred)
- Relevant aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience (preferred)
