Manufacturing Technician

About This Role

This Manufacturing Technician role is a factory-based position supporting the daily operational and maintenance tasks for semiconductor equipment and materials production. The role suits a motivated individual who is keen to learn and adapt, with or without prior experience in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with daily operational tasks in the factory
• Provide support for one or more manufacturing processes when required
• Ensure products are manufactured according to schedule and meet customer quality requirements
• Comply with company standards, safety regulations, and safe work practices
• Train and guide new employees when required
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory in proper storage and good condition
• Support maintenance and manufacturing activities to ensure smooth production

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC in Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Positive attitude with a strong sense of urgency
• Meticulous, organised and attentive to detail
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willing to learn and adapt

Nice to have:

• Prior experience in the Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication industry
