About This Role
The Manufacturing Supervisor oversees production parts and assemblies, ensuring adherence to operating guidelines that support company objectives regarding product cost, scheduling, timely delivery, and customer requirements. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a solid background in manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are enforced and adhered to at all times
- Take full responsibility for the management of staff, production, and quality targets to ensure smooth running of production processes
- Utilize problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to help team members identify root causes and take effective action to resolve issues
- Actively participate in the company’s continuous improvement plan to achieve future growth objectives
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by the Production Manager
- Comply with all NOV company and HSE policies and procedures
- Work with Planning to ensure key production targets such as productivity, quality, and delivery are achieved
- Control spending on supplies, replacement tooling, and overtime in line with production levels
- Train staff to meet job requirements, set goals, and conduct appraisals
Requirements
- Mechanical Diploma (5 years) or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience emphasizing production and manufacturing
- Experience with ERP systems required
- Knowledge of various machining processes and production planning
- Familiarity with tool selection, jigs, fixtures, CNC programming, and CAD/CAM software is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- Strong time management and analytical skills
