About the role
Role: Evaluate and perform powertrain tests for new and mass-produced models, analyzing data and providing technical judgments to management. Monitor project progress, resolve quality issues using engineering principles, and coordinate resources across teams. Coach and mentor junior staff to enhance technical skills and Honda knowledge.
- Conduct powertrain testing, ensuring adherence to test conditions and guidelines.
- Collect data, maintain products, analyze results, and present findings to management.
- Lead complex problem-solving investigations utilizing engineering theories.
- Create and manage activity plans for design and market issues.
- Mentor entry-level and new associates to develop technical expertise.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years relevant experience.
- Strong project management, technical analysis, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in CATIA, Microsoft Office, and organization skills.
- Ability to work hands-on in vehicle testing and laboratory environments.
Working Conditions
- Hands-on vehicle testing and lab work, with significant travel (domestic and international).
- Flexible to work overtime as needed.
- Tools and equipment provided.
