As a Manufacturing Machine Technician, you will play a vital role in driving production excellence by managing high-speed equipment and ensuring consistent output quality. You will utilize your mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot systems, optimize run rates, and maintain a seamless workflow in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the continuous operation of production machinery and bagging equipment to meet established efficiency targets.
- Execute proactive maintenance tasks, including the replacement of molds, valves, hoses, and other critical machine components.
- Perform real-time diagnostics and mechanical adjustments to resolve operational bottlenecks and maintain high-quality production standards.
- Conduct systematic quality inspections at designated intervals to ensure all output meets rigorous product specifications.
- Coordinate with the production team to manage material flow and support automation processes effectively.
- Maintain accurate production logs, quality reports, and operational documentation to ensure data integrity.
- Uphold a safe and organized workspace by adhering to all safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Communicate operational status and safety concerns clearly to supervisors to facilitate continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a machine operator or in a mechanical maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use various hand tools for machine adjustments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic math and analytical troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Preferred Skills
- Direct experience with plastic extrusion, injection molding, or thermoforming processes.
- Familiarity with blow molding equipment and automated bagging systems.
- Experience working with precision measurement tools and quality control standards.
