As a Manufacturing Logistics Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and the precision assembly of high-quality components. You will be responsible for supporting production efficiency through expert material handling and meticulous assembly processes, directly impacting our ability to meet customer delivery goals.
Responsibilities
- Operate ride-on forklifts to safely transport materials, dies, and components to support production workflows.
- Assemble and inspect precision parts, ensuring all finished goods meet rigorous quality standards.
- Manage inventory movement by scanning parts and maintaining accurate digital and physical records.
- Prepare finished products for shipment by performing crating, labeling, and protective wrapping.
- Monitor production sequences and dimensions to identify and report any potential defects or equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in full compliance with environmental and ergonomic protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production bottlenecks and optimize operational output.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Comfortable standing and moving throughout the facility for the duration of the shift.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using precision gauges and quality inspection tools.
- Experience with inventory tracking software or computerized documentation systems.
