Manufacturing Electrician (PLC Automation Controls)- Can Manufacturing

SALARY: $100,000-$135,000

WORK LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL Metal Container Corp Plant

SHIFT: 12-hour shift in a 4-on-3-off, 3-on-4-off work schedule on both days and nights. Holidays and weekends are also required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain machinery, meeting maintenance requirements for 480-volt, 3 phase systems, and minimizing downtime will be necessary.
• Support, troubleshoot, improve, and maintain high-speed production and packaging machinery.
• Responsible for programmable controllers and computer process controls.
• Ensure quality standards are met at all times.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• PLC programming and troubleshooting experience required. Multiple platforms such as Allen Bradley PLC5, Control Logix, HMI, and troubleshooting experience preferred
• Five plus years experience troubleshooting AC/DC drives and high-speed computer-controlled production machinery.
• Maintain the power distribution of plant equipment
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment, using precision measurement tools
• Interpret schematics and equipment manuals
• Identify instrumentation PM, calibration standards, and labeling. Work with electrical supervisor to generate appropriate documentation standards and routine maintenance requirements.
• Assist in identify training needs for process changes and identify ways to improve effectiveness in communication
• Outstanding communication and team-orientation skills.
• Knowledge of servos and related controllers including hydraulic, pneumatic, and temperature controls.
• Application of high-level quality standards.
• Superior attention to safe work practices.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Superior work history, including good attendance.
• AutoCad background a plus
