Managing Director

About This Role

Managing the overall operations of an industrial manufacturing company, with a focus on administrative, economic-financial, and organizational aspects, is the core of this role. The Managing Director will ensure business objectives are met and the organization develops sustainably, ideally bringing experience from the paints sector or structured production environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate company activities, ensuring efficiency of production and organizational processes
• Supervise administrative, financial, and management control areas, monitoring budgets, costs, margins, and cash flows
• Define and implement company strategies in collaboration with ownership and relevant stakeholders
• Monitor economic and operational performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and process optimization
• Coordinate key company functions, fostering collaboration between production, administration, commercial, and purchasing departments
• Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, partners, and financial stakeholders
• Supervise industrial planning and activities necessary to ensure operational continuity and market competitiveness

Requirements

• Consolidated experience in corporate management roles, preferably as Managing Director, General Manager, or Administrative Director with extended management responsibilities
• Background in the paints, coatings, or chemical sectors; alternatively, significant experience in manufacturing companies
• Solid experience in administrative, financial, and management control
• Previous experience in companies with a turnover of approximately 20 to 30 million euros, preferably with direct responsibility for economic results
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
• Economic-financial analysis, strategic planning, and resource management skills
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and leadership skills, combined with a pragmatic and results-oriented approach
