About This Role

This role is for a Capital Deployment Manager in Italy, leading all investment activities for a fast-growing institutional industrial and logistics real estate investment platform. It is a unique opportunity to guide and shape the expansion of a leading platform in key European markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead investments in industrial properties, production facilities, warehouses, and last-mile logistics facilities
• Originate off-market transactions and through intermediaries throughout Italy
• Structure and execute sale-and-leaseback (S&LB) transactions, mid-market asset aggregations, platform roll-ups, and real estate portfolio acquisitions
• Build and develop a solid platform, compliant with institutional standards
• Allocate capital to operating structures, production facilities, warehouses, and build-to-suit (BTS) projects
• Drive financial structuring, negotiation, and closing of transactions
• Develop strong relationships with property owners, developers, brokers, and financial institutions
• Promote value creation and platform growth initiatives

Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in industrial and logistics real estate operations in Italy
• Solid track record in originating and closing off-market transactions
• Strong skills in financial structuring and transaction execution
• Experience in platform building and executing roll-up operations
• In-depth knowledge of operational industrial assets and production facilities
• Familiarity with ESG frameworks, including BREEAM and LEED
• In-depth knowledge of the Italian industrial real estate market: rental rates, availability, absorption, land scarcity, and main logistics corridors
• Consolidated network of contacts with operators, developers, brokers, and financiers
• Entrepreneurial mindset, operational autonomy, and strong results orientation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at the highest corporate levels, including investment committees and boards of directors
• Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken, with fluent communication skills mandatory
