About This Role
Managing and overseeing the operations of the Technical Services Team is the core of this role, providing all-round facilities management services for a residential property. This position suits a professional with extensive experience in property or facilities management at a managerial level.
Responsibilities
- Plan for preventive and corrective technical services with checklists and procedures to maintain the standards of facilities
- Lead the team to monitor the performance of direct staff, contractors, and suppliers to ensure workmanship, schedule, and budget in accordance with predetermined requirements
- Prepare, manage, and control the operating budget related to technical services
- Implement the procurement process for all outsourced works, including tender preparation, tender analysis, contract administration, testing and commissioning, and handover
- Review regularly and revise the service standard, maintenance schedule, procedures, work records, checklists, and all other deliverables returned, in order to ensure effective system(s) operation with minimum cost and in compliance with statutory requirements
- Prepare proposals and implement upgrading works for both building fabric and major facilities to uplift the operation standards in a sustainable manner
- Ensure the health and safety of the team by eliminating potential risks during the course of planning, repairing, maintaining, and conducting improvement works, and select appropriate materials and methods
- Provide support, guidance, and assistance to the team regarding any problems encountered; lead them with efficient and effective utilization of resources
Requirements
- Degree holder in related disciplines, preferably in Building Studies, Building Surveying, Building Services Engineering, or Facilities Management
- Over 10 years in property or facilities management field
- Over 5 years at managerial level
- Excellent command in spoken English and Chinese
- PC Knowledge: MS Office
- Solid experience in facilities management of residential properties

- Professional members in HKIS, HKIE, RICS, CIBSE, Registered Electrical Worker License
