About This Role
This role is for a Manager of Technical Project Management with a focus on mechanical systems, ensuring the proper execution of maintenance projects. The position involves providing mechanical engineering expertise to projects in India, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timelines, and leading both self and others with a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper execution of maintenance projects and understand the set of technical assets/equipment
- Achieve project targets in agreed quality, maintenance volume/budget and timelines
- Provide Mechanical Engineering expertise to maintenance projects in India for Mechanical and Piping systems (HVAC, Compressor, Air washer, Fire fighting system, Pumps, STP, ETP etc.)
- Handle local Real estate lifecycle maintenance projects and customer specific maintenance projects
- Develop long term maintenance plans and applications for maintenance investments
- Plan and manage technical projects to ensure successful implementation
- Develop and implement technical concept/projects to reduce costs, e.g., maintenance and opex
- Advise operational project management and customers in building technology aspects
- Ensure adherence to maintenance principles, guidelines and processes
- Execute local EHS aspects and minimize risk to ensure legally compliant operations and live Zero Harm Culture
- Steer and ensure adherence to local building standards and regulations, including proper documentation of owned buildings in asset register
- Maintain knowledge and understanding about technical assets/equipment and their conditions
- Understand technical interferences and impacts of technical assets/equipment, taking sustainability and EHS in maintenance into account
- Understand cost structure of technical asset equipment and cost drivers in detail, and monitor given budget for the project
- Act as local interface to Facility Management providers for hard services
- Steer and track delivery of hard facility services and review existing services regarding provider quality and customer demand
- Support evaluation and selection of outsourced vendor and service providers for hard facility services in alignment with Regional Asset Manager
- Coordinate with SRE central team, EHS, SCM, Sustainability team, Security team, Commercial
- Provide Mechanical Engineering expert support to all projects during project planning, Design Engineering and testing commissioning of Mechanical and Piping systems (HVAC, Compressor, Air washer, Firefighting system, Pumps, STP, ETP etc.)
Requirements
- Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with factory and office experience of around 10 years
- For PG candidate (premium institute), 5-7 years experience at Key positions
