Essential Responsibilities
- Manage all GST Compliances viz. GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, Job Work Compliances, annual returns, annual audits;
- Managing departmental GST Audits and assessments
- Managing regular department notices
- Coordinate with external consultants on litigation and compliance matters and track progress on ongoing cases
- Representing before GST department in relation to notice, audits and assessments.
- Drive rigor around 2A mismatches with business stakeholders
- Partner with Site Leaders to ensure strong compliance with indirect tax requirements and drive accountability
- Maintain end-to-end ownership of tax accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of tax balances at all times.
- Lead interactions with statutory auditors, tax auditors, internal auditors, ensuring timely closure of queries and providing required GST-related documentation.
- Drive process standardisation, documentation, and improvements across key operational areas, including- GRN and material receipts, Purchases, Job Work(including FOC supply), repairs, replacements, warranty claims etc.
- Enhancement of ERP systems and processes relevant for indirect tax.This will require deep knowledge of ERP systems and working with IT Teams
- Responsible for tax efficient sourcing of material/ services including validation of HSNs/ SACs, tax savings vs estimates etc.
- Preparation and review of tax account reconciliations periodically and ensure integrity, completeness, and accuracy in account reconciliation process.
- Tax vetting of agreements, contracts, and other misc. communications as required.
Basic Qualifications
Qualified CA from Big 4
Location
Hosur Bangalore with min. 3 days travel to Hosur (Preferred Location- Hosur)
Eligibility Requirements
- Minimum 4-5 yearswork experience on indirect taxes in Big 4;
- Strong hands-on experience in GST compliance, advisory, assessments, and litigation;
- Past experience of working in Oracle is an added advantage
