About This Role
This role is for a Manager in Supply Chain Planning, focusing on improving supply chain performance for clients in a dynamic, digital world. The core of the job involves implementing and delivering OMP solutions end-to-end, optimizing client supply chain planning processes, and translating business needs into functional and technical requirements for OMP solutions. Responsibilities
- Deliver projects that improve client business performance, in line with the Exceptional Client Service approach
- Build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers
- Support bids, proposals, and thought leadership
- Coach and support EY consultants and client team members to deliver sustainable business outcomes
- Optimize the Supply Chain Planning processes and functions of clients while translating their business needs into functional and technical requirements for the OMP solutions
- Be hands-on in the tools and co-create solutions that fit clients’ needs and are in line with the capabilities of OMP
- Assist in the configuration and parametrization of the OMP solutions
- Have an eye for the impact new ways of working will have on the end-user and implement solutions to smoothen the transition (e.g., training, end-user profiling)
- Actively establish and strengthen relationships with regional and global Supply Chain Planning leadership teams and with OMP senior management
- Provide innovative insights for clients, adapting service offerings, solutions, and methods to fit operational teams and cultural needs
- Work together with the client on implementing solutions, often in an international environment on projects with a significant impact on company results
Requirements
- Master’s degree with emphasis in Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or Logistics with strong academic records
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering sustained improvements in business performance through technology, gained in consultancy or the industry either as an end-user or as an implementation lead
- Passion for Supply Chain planning and strong knowledge and experience in this field or one of the sub-fields (demand planning, forecasting, S&OP, IBP, EBP, DRP, Production Scheduling)
- Prior experience with Supply Chain Planning Systems (OMP, O9, Kinaxis) and willingness to gather deep knowledge about OMP
- Fluent written and spoken English, French and/or Dutch
- Excellent analytical capabilities, drive, enthusiasm, conceptual thinking, communication and influencing skills and pragmatism in execution
- Entrepreneurial spirit & excellent business development skills
