This role involves leading complex improvement and change projects within public organizations, translating strategic ambitions into tangible improvements in daily practice. It suits a strategic partner for management teams and senior stakeholders, who can guide organizations on governance, operating models, process improvement, performance management, and organizational development.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex improvement and change projects within public organizations
• Translate strategy and policy into executable change agendas
• Guide organizations on governance, operating models, process improvement, performance management, and organizational development
• Act as a strategic discussion partner for management teams and senior stakeholders
• Simplify complex issues into clear choices and concrete results
• Manage project teams
• Mentor consultants in their development
• Actively contribute to the growth of service delivery and propositions within Public Operations
• Optimize operational processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Analyze operational metrics and use data to identify improvement points and support strategic decisions
• Collaborate effectively with various departments such as strategy, production, planning, control, and finance
• Ensure the organization achieves its operational objectives and KPIs through leadership and analytical skills
• Motivate and guide colleagues in their development

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in strategy, transformation, organizational development, or operational improvement projects, preferably in consultancy
• Experience with program management, change management, governance, operating models, or performance management within complex organizations, preferably in the public sector
• Strong advisor and discussion partner for management teams and senior stakeholders
• Combine analytical ability and administrative sensitivity with a pragmatic approach that leads to sustainable results
• Excellent command of Dutch and English
• Affinity with public organizations
