Manager SAP Procurement

About This Role

Managing SAP Procurement solutions is the core of this role, acting as a crucial link between business and IT. This position involves translating client needs into future-proof SAP Procurement solutions, enabling organizations to transition to the latest SAP technologies. The role suits a technology-driven professional with a strong track record in designing and implementing successful SAP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Procurement work package within large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
• Manage teams, monitor progress, and ensure successful implementation aligned with client strategic objectives
• Work within multidisciplinary project teams
• Support clients in complex transformation programs, commercial processes, and the further development of Powered Enterprise
• Be involved in all phases of a transformation, including acquisition and commercial processes, strategy development and analysis, SAP solution design, configuration and realization, and implementation and rollout

Requirements

• Completed HBO or university education
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as an SAP Procurement consultant
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (MM) and/or SAP Ariba
• Practical experience with SAP implementations in Public Cloud and/or Private Cloud environments, such as SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Private Edition, RISE with SAP, or cloud-based Procurement platforms
• Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into effective SAP solutions
• Demonstrable experience with large-scale SAP transformation programs, including requirements analysis, design, build, and implementation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good command of the English language; affinity with the Dutch language or willingness to develop it further
• Reside in the Netherlands at the time of application
• Affinity with (generative) AI and motivation to actively use this technology in daily work activities
