Manager - R & D (Porcelain/Ceramic Industry)
Job Description / Responsibility
We are one of the largest export-based Porcelain / Tableware manufacturing industry in Bangladesh and looking for a suitable candidate for the position of
Manager – R & D
at our Factory Office.
The selected candidate will be responsible to lead the R & D activities for
Body, Glaze and Lab
sections of the factory.
Major Job Responsibilities for the position are:
- Develop and improve body and glaze formulations.
- Ensure smooth operation of the body preparation, glaze preparation, and lab testing processes.
- Conduct defect analysis, root-cause studies, and implement corrective actions.
- Support production teams with technical guidance and process improvement.
- Maintain quality standards through continuous development and innovation.
Educational Requirements
- Diploma
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- Diploma or BSc. in Ceramic Technology / Engineering. BSc in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry is also preferred.
Experience Requirements
- At least 7 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Tiles/Ceramic
Additional Requirements
- Sound knowledge of body/glaze chemistry, lab testing methods, and process control.
- Experience in production support, defect troubleshooting, and material optimization.
- Strong leadership and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
