Job Description / Responsibility
A renowned Porcelain/Tableware manufacturer company is looking for potential candidate for the position of Manager (Quality) for its Factory located at Habiganj.
The selected candidate will be responsible to ensure production of best quality Porcelain/ Tableware products through quality controlling in every steps of production.
Major Job responsibilities of the position are as follows:
- Establish and manage quality control system, parameters and statistical controls including testing and evaluation from raw material to finished products.
- Closely monitor internal processes and procedures to ensure quality in every steps of production.
- Propose corrective and preventive actions to non-conformances recorded during assessments and inspections
- Ensure implementation of proposed corrective / preventive actions and determine their effectiveness
- Investigate customer complaints, verify causes of defects and coordinate implementation of corrective / preventive actions
- Make sure that the quality personnel are aware of the quality requirement and train them to maintain the needed quality requirements throughout the production processes
Educational Requirements
- Diploma
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- B.Sc. in Ceramic Engineering / Diploma in Ceramic Engineering with adequate experience
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Tiles/Ceramic
Additional Requirements
- The Candidate should have minimum 5 yrs of experience in the quality department in Porcelain/Ceramic Industry, out of which 2 yrs in managerial position.
- Should have the knowledge to ensure quality on each manufacturing process of Tableware Production
- should be able to establish quality parameters in the department
- Should be self-motivated and result oriented
