Standard Bank PLC is looking for Manager Operations (SO to SAVP)

Job Description / Responsibility

• Ensure smooth and efficient management of day-to-day branch operations in compliance with Bangladesh Bank guidelines, Bank policies, and internal control procedures.
• Supervise and monitor all operational activities of the branch, including account opening, clearing, cash management, remittance, inward/outward transactions, and customer service operations.
• Ensure proper compliance with KYC, AML/CFT, regulatory requirements, and internal audit observations through effective monitoring and control.
• Review and authorize operational transactions, vouchers, and documents within the delegated authority while ensuring accuracy and risk mitigation.
• Manage and guide branch operations staff, allocate duties effectively, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Ensure maintenance of proper documentation, record keeping, and safe custody of important documents in accordance with Bank policies.
• Identify operational risks and implement appropriate control measures to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Educational Requirements

• Masters
• Skills Required: Operation & Maintenance, Operation, Operational Management

Experience Requirements

• At least 1 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
• Banks

Additional Requirements

• Candidates having a break in services need not apply
• Sound knowledge of MS Package - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Must be a confident communicator and presenter.
• Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships.
• Possess the ability to keep information confidential.
• Should have a wide degree of creativity.
