Job Description We are seeking a Manager of Engineering to lead a cross-functional team responsible for supporting enterprise technology initiatives and business-critical projects. This individual will oversee a team of technical professionals, drive project execution, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure strategic initiatives are delivered successfully.
This role is best suited for a leader who enjoys mentoring teams, improving processes, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately eight professionals, including business analysts, QA specialists, reporting developers, and project/product support staff.
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 30 concurrent technology and business initiatives.
- Coordinate enterprise system enhancements, software implementations, ERP-related projects, and other strategic technology efforts.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to prioritize work and ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor project timelines, risks, and overall progress while communicating updates to leadership.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Partner with analytics, reporting, and data-focused teams to support business objectives.
- Implement practical project management practices that drive results while maintaining flexibility.
Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience managing technical or engineering teams.
- Experience overseeing analysts, QA teams, reporting developers, or other technical professionals.
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology projects and system implementations.
- Experience working with data, business intelligence, analytics, or technical analysis teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting business needs.
- Experience with ERP systems, enterprise applications, or large-scale technology initiatives is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree and certifications are not required.
