Manager, Maintenance

About This Role

Managing all aspects of the technical department is the core of this maintenance manager role. This includes overseeing maintenance costs, contractor-performed maintenance, regular and preventive maintenance, and new equipment installations.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a cohesive team for technical employees focused on company objectives of safety, quality, service, and efficiency
• Drive and apply lean principles to the maintenance processes to minimize waste and increase throughput
• Use data collection processes to evaluate unplanned downtime and implement corrective actions
• Maintain monthly R&M spend for the facility
• Organize and track capital projects
• Maintain production standards and measurement systems as required
• Promote employee engagement activities to create and maintain a positive work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5-10 years of relevant work experience
• 2-5 years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment

Nice to have:

• Bachelor's Degree – Technical Management or Plastics Engineering
• Master's Degree
• Experience to be considered in lieu of education
