Manager, Grants

About This Role

This continuing, full-time appointment involves researching and developing high-quality grant submissions to secure revenue opportunities from various government, philanthropic, and business sources, both domestically and internationally. The role suits a candidate who can monitor emerging opportunities and maintain strong relationships with funding contacts.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain personal contact and relationships with funding contacts and program officers, ensuring a complete understanding of the program
• Prepare, write and produce high-quality funding proposals that frame and meet the needs of the Foundation
• Develop proposals that influence and support funders to effectively apply their investments in the University sector
• Track and coordinate the University's participation in ongoing funding opportunities

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to undertake research, and to write clearly and persuasively
• Ability to utilise initiative, exercise independent judgement and make decisions, whilst maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive matters diplomatically and discreetly
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to develop strong relationships across a wide variety of stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to secure new funding opportunities
• Valid Employer Working with Children Check (WWCC)
