About the role
JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Education, Research and Hearing-Impaired Programs provides strategic leadership for professional education, clinical competency, rehabilitation research, student programs, continuing professional development, and communication accessibility services across the Department of Rehabilitation Therapies.
The Manager ensures that rehabilitation professionals maintain the highest standards of clinical competency while supporting the organization’s academic mission through education, research, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The position also oversees programs supporting patients who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have communication impairments by ensuring compliance with federal accessibility requirements and promoting equitable communication access.
EDUCATION
Master’s Degree required. Doctorate preferred
EXPERIENCE
Five years of progressive rehabilitation experience.
Experience in education, academic healthcare, or professional development preferred.
Licensed rehabilitation professional or equivalent healthcare leader.
