About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Claims to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will oversee claims operations with a strong focus on process efficiency, financial stewardship, and compliance in a regulated environment. The manager will partner across operations, accounting, and customer-facing teams to improve workflows, resolve issues, and strengthen recovery outcomes. The position also serves as a subject matter expert on claims administration, helping drive consistent execution and reliable reporting.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $107,901 – $172,642 annually
Responsibilities
- Streamline shared processing to reduce exceptional management efforts
- Set operational processes aligned with market trends and customer demands
- Manage accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Research and resolve banking issues related to claims
- Participate in projects improving claims processing and recovery functions
- Oversee financial recovery activities, including refunds and collections
- Serve as the Claims ASO Subject Matter Expert, providing analysis and expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree, where required
- 8+ years of experience in a related field, or 10+ years in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated claims operations experience in a regulated environment preferred
- Experience leading claims teams and managing performance
- Proven understanding of claims systems and processing workflows
- Data analytics and reporting experience
