- Architect, design, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance AI-enabled applications.
- Establish and drive engineering best practices across architecture, design patterns, scalability, performance, and application security.
- Review application designs and code to ensure production readiness, maintainability, and enterprise quality standards.
- Partner with AI Engineers to select and implement effective AI architecture patterns, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows, and model integration approaches.
- Design and build APIs, integration services, shared services, and enterprise application components required for AI solution delivery.
- Lead project scaffolding, repository design, environment setup, deployment pipelines, and platform readiness activities.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud Platform teams to ensure secure, scalable, and supportable deployments.
- Drive CI/CD implementation, automated testing practices, release management, operational readiness, and deployment excellence.
- Integrate AI applications with enterprise platforms and systems while ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
- Mentor engineering teams by introducing modern software engineering practices and scalable architecture approaches for AI solutions
Qualifications Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise-grade applications and distributed systems.
- Deep expertise in application architecture, software design patterns, scalability, performance optimization, and application security.
- Strong experience building cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience delivering AI-enabled applications and partnering with AI engineering teams.
- Understanding of modern AI architectural patterns including RAG, agentic workflows, LLM integration, observability, and evaluation frameworks.
- Strong experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with technologies such as Neo4j, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Kubernetes, Containers, FastAPI, and modern cloud-native frameworks.
- Strong understanding of relational, NoSQL, graph, vector, and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Proficiency with GitHub workflows, branching strategies, pull requests, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and modern AI-assisted engineering practices.

- Ability to influence engineering teams and stakeholders through technical leadership rather than authority.
