Responsibilities
- Provide an excellent guest experience
- Ensure that great food is prepared and served
- Keep restaurants functional, clean, and beautiful
- Manage inventory and money control systems
- Coordinate local marketing initiatives, including community outreach
- Recruit staff
- Maintain standards of restaurant safety and security
- Be a team player
- Recruit and reward outstanding team members
- Ensure safety and security protocols are followed, including being aware of local and national health and food safety codes
- Maintain business records and analyze them to help increase sales
- Identify and contact prospective guests to promote sales
- Support local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring the restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window
- Plan special events and promotions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment
- Experience in supervising and training staff
- Excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members
- Computer knowledge is essential
- Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
- Ability to bend, stand, and walk the entire workday
- Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
