About This Role
This role is for a Manager or Senior Manager in Managed Services Fund Accounting, focusing on private equity, real estate, or credit fund administration. The position requires a deep understanding of alternative investment fund structures and hands-on NAV calculation experience.
Responsibilities
- Review, approve, and troubleshoot complex allocation and distribution calculations
- Perform actual NAV calculation
- Handle journal postings and accounting tools, preferably Investran or other PE accounting systems such as Geneva or Yardi
- Support or handle annual financial statement audits, including notes to accounts and disclosures
- Oversee third-party administrators and manage complex fund structures
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
- Manage projects and lead teams
Requirements
- Private equity, real estate, or credit fund administration experience
- Deep understanding of alternative investment fund structures, investor economics, and reporting requirements
- Advanced expertise in private equity, real estate, or credit waterfall mechanics, including preferred returns and carried interest
- Actual NAV calculation experience is essential (not just NAV reconciliation)
- Strong exposure to journal postings and accounting tools is required, preferably Investran or other PE accounting systems such as Geneva or Yardi
- Clear understanding of waterfall calculations including capital allocation processes such as capital calls, distributions, and P&L allocation
- Experience in financial statement preparation under US GAAP is important
- Proven experience overseeing third-party administrators and managing complex fund structures
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with a client-service mindset, prioritizing accuracy, timeliness, and responsiveness
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong ownership mentality and attention to detail
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong project management and team leadership experience

- Regulatory reporting exposure such as CIMA, Luxembourg, or ERISA
