About This Role

This consulting role offers growth opportunities within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Department of Defense, and Health and Human Services. Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and reporting of emerging health care programs, ensuring alignment with the Department's strategic goals and recent legislation.
• Establish and manage a system for the intake, evaluation, and prioritization of innovation ideas submitted by front-line employees.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the program and individual projects.
• Design methods for collecting and analyzing data on KPIs and recommend target goals for expected outcomes.
• Identify and create opportunities to engage front-line employees in the implementation of their health care programs.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly reports summarizing all activities, participants, and outcomes related to the innovation program.
• Develop and maintain key client relationships
• Manage meeting invites, track meeting actions, facilitate presentations, and deliver client recommendations.
• Develop visually appealing and organized executive summaries, courses of action, and status updates.
• Provide implementation support for VA projects and activities (i.e., schedule kick-off calls, facilitate office hours, take meeting notes, manage communication channels, analyze feedback, etc.).

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in program or project management with a focus on health care or legislative affairs.
• Prior experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Expertise in project management methodologies with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
