Management and Program Analyst *NTE*

Duties

As a Management and Program Analyst you will:

• Convert various written products to a 508 compliant format.
• Review a variety of written content for compliance with plain language laws and best practices.
• Identify ways to resolve or address issues which directly affect the accomplishment of principal program goals and objectives.
• Research new or improved best practices with regard to 508 compliance and plain writing.
• Work with internal customers to coordinate and prioritize work
• Share 508 compliance best practices with colleagues

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.GS-9 LEVEL: You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-7 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for resolving clearly defined problems or issues and accomplishment working with functional programs, operations and processes; Experience to provide input on program staffing, changes in methods, procedures and techniques to improve baseline measures and organizational efficiency as well as, performing basic operational reviews, preparing program evaluations, reports and recommendations and providing guidelines pertaining to effectively meeting goals and objectives.OR
You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: a Master’s or equivalent graduate degree in a related field of study that demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to do the work. OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to master’s or equivalent graduate degree in a related field of study that demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to do the work. OR an LL.B. or J.D., if related.

-The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or VolunteerService. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part- time work is considered on a prorated basis.
