About the role
We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality, safe imaging at a busy breast and x-ray center.
Key responsibilities include performing mammography exams, reviewing image quality, ensuring patient privacy and comfort, operating equipment safely, and maintaining accurate documentation in PACS/RIS.
They will also perform quality control tests, support patient education, and assist in emergencies, all while adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year of radiologic and mammography experience in a hospital setting.
Certifications required are ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS.
Skills involve strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, positioning, radiation safety, and mammography best practices, along with professionalism, teamwork, and excellent communication.
