About the role
We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality imaging in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities include performing mammography exams following physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort, reviewing images for quality, and maintaining accurate documentation in PACS/RIS.
They will operate equipment safely, perform quality control tests, and uphold infection control standards. Additionally, they support patient education, address questions, and assist with training new team members.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year of radiologic and mammography experience. Certifications required are ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS.
Skills and qualities include strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, positioning, radiation safety, excellent communication, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team.
