About the role
This role is for a Mammography Technologist supporting multiple imaging facilities within a regional team.
In this position, you will
- perform high-quality mammography exams following physician orders and protocols,
- review images for quality,
- operate equipment safely,
- maintain patient privacy and comfort,
- and ensure compliance with quality standards such as ACR and MQSA.
Key responsibilities include gathering patient history, explaining procedures, assisting with transfers, and documenting procedures accurately in PACS/RIS. You will also perform QC tests, maintain equipment, and support team training.
- Qualifications** include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 2 years of hospital-based radiologic and mammography experience. Required certifications are ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS.
