About the role
We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our Diagnostic Float Team, supporting imaging services across multiple facilities.
In this role, you will perform mammography exams following physician protocols, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. You will review images for quality, operate equipment safely, and maintain compliance with accreditation standards.
Key responsibilities include gathering patient history, explaining procedures, assisting with transfers, and documenting procedures accurately in PACS/RIS. You will also perform QC tests, maintain equipment, and support training for new staff.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 2 years of hospital-based radiologic and mammography experience. Certifications required are ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS.
Ideal candidates possess strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, positioning, radiation safety, and mammography best practices, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
