About the role
We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our Diagnostic Float Team , supporting imaging services across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Performing mammography exams accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring patient safety, privacy, and comfort
- Reviewing images for quality and completeness
- Operating mammography equipment safely and maintaining infection control standards
- Conducting quality control tests and documenting procedures
- Labeling and documenting images in PACS/RIS systems
- Providing clear patient instructions and supporting team training
- Maintaining a clean, stocked suite and adhering to safety protocols
- Communicating professionally within a fast-paced team environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Radiologic Technologist and Mammography experience
- Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-M, BLS
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, positioning, and radiation safety
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to operate imaging equipment and perform quality assurance
