About the role
We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to support a variety of imaging services across multiple facilities within the region.
In this role, you will perform high-quality mammography exams, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain adherence to clinical protocols. Your responsibilities include gathering patient history, explaining procedures, reviewing images for quality, operating equipment safely, and documenting procedures accurately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- At least 2 years of hospital-based Radiologic Technologist experience and Mammography experience
- Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-M, BLS
Skills & Duties
- Operate mammography equipment following safety and quality standards
- Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and comfort during exams
- Maintain infection control and equipment readiness
- Perform quality control tests and document results
- Label, document, and upload images accurately in PACS/RIS
- Support patient education, address questions, and assist team members
- Communicate professionally and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
