About the role
The role involves supporting a variety of imaging services across multiple facilities as part of a diagnostic float team. They will operate mammography equipment safely, adhere to regulatory standards, and maintain proper documentation and equipment readiness.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 2 years of hospital-based radiologic and mammography experience. Certifications required are ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS.
Key responsibilities encompass patient positioning, screening for contraindications, providing clear instructions, maintaining infection control, performing quality control tests, and supporting team training.
