About the role
Duration: 9 Weeks
Schedule: 5 days/week, 7.50 hours/day, 37.50 hours/week
Job Description:
- Perform routine screening & diagnostic mammography.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
- Perform proper patient positioning, breast compression, and technique selection.
- Ensure all images are properly labeled according to department SOPs.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and transmit them to PACS promptly.
- Complete studies in IDX and accurately maintain patient tracking records
Experience:
- At least 1 year of Mammography experience
Education:
- High school Diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Licenses: Must possess New York State License of Diagnostic Radiography.
Certifications: Must be registered with ARRT and Must maintain MQSA requirements (Mammography Quality Standards Act).
