Duties

• Perform bridal or any kind of makeup applications that highlight each client’s unique features and preferences, ensuring a flawless and long-lasting look..
• (Optional) Apply character makeup and prosthetic effects for photoshoots, performances, or themed events, demonstrating versatility in techniques.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by properly cleaning tools, brushes, and workstations after each client.
• Offer personalized consultations to understand client needs, recommend suitable products, and educate on makeup techniques.
• Upsell beauty services by effectively communicating their benefits to clients, increasing sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Makeup Artist within the beauty industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles.
• Expertise in bridal makeup application techniques that ensure durability and elegance for special occasions.
• (Optional) Skilled in special event hair styling, including intricate updos and modern trends.
• Knowledge of character or prosthetic makeup effects.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients.
• Familiarity with color theory, color coordination, and makeup application tools to achieve desired looks.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to work with photography equipment or in photo shoots is a plus.
• Certification in cosmetology or related beauty fields is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be considered.
