Responsibilities
- Perform professional makeup applications for various occasions including bridal, special events, photoshoots, and character makeup
- Style hair for special events, ensuring each look complements the client’s features and desired outcome
- Apply eyelash extensions with precision to enhance eye aesthetics and client satisfaction
- Execute body waxing, dermabrasion, and other skin preparation techniques to ensure flawless makeup application
- Utilize color theory and color coordination skills to select appropriate shades for makeup and hair styling
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations after each client
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice, and manage expectations
- Upsell additional services such as prosthetic makeup effects or hair styling enhancements to maximize client experience
- Capture high-quality photographs of completed looks for portfolio purposes while respecting client confidentiality
- Manage time efficiently to accommodate multiple appointments without compromising quality or service standards
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Makeup Artist within the beauty industry or related fields
- Skilled in bridal makeup application techniques and special event hair styling
- Knowledge of eyelash extension application, character makeup, prosthetic effects, and body waxing procedures
- Strong understanding of sanitation protocols and cosmetology best practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with photography techniques related to beauty work is a plus
- Experience in sales or upselling services is advantageous for enhancing client satisfaction and revenue growth
