Making a lasting impact on clients' lives by helping them look and feel their best is the core of this Makeup Artist position. The role suits a creative individual with strong cosmetic knowledge and excellent customer service skills who can work both independently and take direction.
Responsibilities
- Provide makeup application services and makeup lessons that meet company standards
- Achieve service goals set by Management
- Achieve sales goals set by Management
- Uphold all CA state laws for safety and sanitation
- Ensure the counter, shelves, and gondolas are customer-ready throughout the entire business day from opening to closing
- Ensure product is stocked throughout the day
- Uphold high standards of counter hygiene by regularly cleaning display units, tools, and testers throughout the day
- Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels by performing stock counts, ensuring proper rotation, and ensuring timely replenishment
- Place orders, unpack, and count orders
- Establish strong client relationships by actively listening to their needs and preferences and offering personalized recommendations
- Assist customers with their questions or requests
- Ensure wax and makeup stations are sanitized and stocked throughout the day
- Turn off wax and AC at the end of the day
Requirements
- High level of customer service and excellent communication skills
- Foster a positive and collaborative attitude in your work and interactions with colleagues
- Support and contribute to an environment of open communication and professionalism
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Minimum of four years of experience in the cosmetics industry
- Strong understanding of beauty trends and a passion for makeup
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfortable using a variety of makeup products
- Expert knowledge on Golden Ratio Eyebrow shaping method and how to appropriately use ABH products
- Adhere to dress code guidelines
- Cosmetology license required
