Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide, maintain, or procure maintenance for all utilities, equipment, buildings and grounds for a safe and pleasant environment.
Responsibilities :
- Lawn, garden, snow removal and all other ground work.
- Be able to complete work orders and communicate status.
- Do preventive maintenance on equipment as assigned.
- To assist in all moves and changes as departments need them.
- MSDS Review and interpretation.
- Miscellaneous repair to any of hospital buildings, equipment and/or grounds.
- Initiate contractors for repairs outside of your expertise.
- Security as assigned.
- Maintain a safe environment which includes knowing and understanding hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Report and directly address identified environmental hazards when appropriate.
- Report and directly address violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed.
- Other duties as requested by Director.
