About the role

Core Duties

  • Execute essential repairs and upkeep for facility infrastructure, machinery, and plant equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with automated systems, CNC units, assembly lines, conveyors, and presses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help achieve collective production and maintenance objectives.
  • Contribute to equipment configuration adjustments and participate in ongoing process optimization projects.
  • Maintain a secure working environment by strictly adhering to electrical safety protocols and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
  • Carry out routine preventive maintenance, necessary corrective repairs, and system enhancements.
  • Maintain precise records of work orders, equipment downtime, and maintenance activities.
  • Utilize aerial lifts and forklifts to support operational needs.
  • Engage in waste reduction efforts and lean manufacturing methodologies to improve efficiency.
  • Provide general support for plant-wide operations and assist with various maintenance-related tasks as required.

Professional Requirements

Essential Competencies

  • Deep understanding of mechanical, lubrication, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting technical schematics and electrical diagrams.
  • Practical background in cutting torch operation and arc or MIG welding techniques.
  • Proven capability in diagnosing faults within industrial production machinery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks autonomously with limited oversight.
  • Familiarity with environmental and quality standards within a manufacturing setting is a plus.
  • Basic experience in troubleshooting PLCs is considered an advantage.

Academic Background

  • Completion of a GED or High School Diploma is mandatory.
  • Vocational or technical certification is highly desirable.

Work History

  • At least five years of experience in a plant or industrial maintenance role is preferred.
