About This Role
Maintaining the company's residential and commercial properties, ensuring they are safe, functional, and presentable for residents and partners, is the main focus of this role. The position suits a skilled technician who can handle a variety of repair and upkeep tasks, from responding to maintenance requests to preparing vacant units.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to resident and management maintenance requests for occupied and vacant units
- Diagnose, repair, and replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems as needed
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to maintain building systems and equipment
- Inspect, repair, and prepare vacant units for new residents and move-ins
- Complete general repairs, including drywall, painting, flooring, fixtures, and other apartment materials
- Maintain property grounds, including trash pickup, sweeping, and landscaping duties
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and safety procedures
- Operate tools, equipment, and machinery in a safe and professional manner
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
- Work overtime or weekend shifts when necessary and approved by the Property Manager
- Assist with additional property operations and maintenance duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of one (1) year of general residential maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management systems
- Certifications or licenses as required by local, state, or federal regulations
- Valid driver
-s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work on-call rotations, weekends, and after-hours as needed
- Must be able to pass a background screening

- Schedule: Monday
-Friday, 9:00 AM
-6:00 PM; may be scheduled for morning, afternoon, or evening shifts during the regular workweek and on weekends
- Rotating on-call schedule required for after-hours maintenance emergencies
- Expected hours: 40.0 per week
