About This Role
This position is primarily an outdoor role focused on the upkeep and maintenance of properties, including groundskeeping, landscaping, and general repairs. It suits a professional with maintenance experience who is committed to safe work practices and can work independently in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform groundskeeping and general property upkeep
- Conduct landscaping, weed abatement, and irrigation support
- Perform digging, lifting, hauling, and other physical outdoor labor
- Carry out janitorial and trash removal duties
- Perform basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
- Conduct basic electrical repairs and maintenance
- Complete general maintenance and repair tasks
- Use hand tools and basic power tools in a safe and effective manner
- Assist with vendor coordination and onsite access as needed
- Respond to miscellaneous maintenance needs throughout the property
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional community environment
- Follow company safety practices, policies, and procedures at all times
Requirements
- At least 3 years of maintenance experience or experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and general repair work
- Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools and basic power tools
- Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and complete work independently
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
- Professional and respectful communication with residents, coworkers, and vendors
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and squat for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
- Ability to work in a primarily outdoor environment
- Must have reliable, registered transportation
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening, consistent with applicable law
- 2 years of Residential Maintenance experience (Required)
