This future-proof job in Sondershausen is for a testing and maintenance technician for lightning protection systems, conducting metrological tests on earthing and lightning protection systems. Responsibilities

• Perform standard-compliant recurring tests, measurements, and maintenance on lightning protection and earthing systems
• Assemble, repair, and extend external and internal lightning protection and surge protection systems
• Document measurement results and prepare test reports, protocols, and defect lists
• Systematically troubleshoot, rectify faults, and perform revision work on lightning protection equipment
• Advise customers on-site regarding technical defects and necessary repair and retrofit measures

Requirements

• Successfully completed technical vocational training (e.g., as an electrician, electrical installer, roofer, lightning protection specialist) or comparable qualification
• Initial or solid professional experience in testing, maintenance, or assembly of lightning protection and earthing systems
• Unlimited suitability for heights and no dizziness for assembly work on roofs and structures
• Valid car driver's license (Class B) is mandatory for regional field service
• Safety-conscious, independent working style, high reliability, and team spirit
