Salary Range: $56k - $66k annually based on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm, occasional weekends and on-call rotation.

What You Bring (Requirements)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of trade or vocational school, with courses in blueprint reading, mechanical drawing, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC equipment, refrigeration and electricity preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years full-time experience in construction or maintenance of equipment, utilities and buildings preferred.
  • Knowledge of state building, plumbing and electrical codes and ordinances.
  • Knowledge of basic machinery and tools.
  • Ability to operate lawn and yard equipment.
  • Boiler’s license (1st class and above) where applicable.
  • Knowledge and ability in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, plastering and painting.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Assumes responsibilities for overall maintenance of facility. Responsible for preventative maintenance, painting and repairs inside and outside the facility to provide a safe, attractive and orderly environment for the benefit, use, enjoyment protection of residents, staff and visitors. Conducts routine tests and inspections on various facility systems and implements programs in a manner that meet the goals and objectives of the facility.

  • Develops and reviews Maintenance policies and procedures on an annual basis.
  • Assumes responsibility for hiring, training, counseling and/or termination of all maintenance personnel as necessary.
  • Assigns, schedules, supervises and evaluates maintenance personnel.
  • Repairs and paints the building exterior as needed.
  • May be on-call for emergencies twenty-four (24) hours-a-day.
  • Schedules and expedites work order requests.
