Maintenance Manager

Requirements

• 5+ years or more of progressive responsibility in facilities management with 5+ years of multifamily experience or comparable in regional management
• Prior experience in and knowledge of affordable housing and applicable knowledge of HUD-REAC NSPIRE inspections
• Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical/appliance repairs
• Strong leadership presence and proven track record in employee development of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dedicated to exceeding expectations, leading by example, and by providing exceptional service
• Willingness to embrace feedback and continuously improve
• Strong belief in the value of teamwork and collaboration
• Reliable and committed to doing the right thing at all times
• Ability and willingness to travel overnight, ranging from 10% to 20% based on location of geographically dispersed properties for on-site support, training, and meetings as needed
• Availability to work outside of standard business hours (8:00AM-5:00PM), as required to meet operational needs and project deadlines
• Personal standards of appearance and dress compatible with the Company’s standards

• Certification (i.e. CAMT, OSHA, HVAC, CPO, etc.) in a related trade preferred

Important Details

• Travel: Approximately 80% of the time will be spent on-site and 20% at the designated office. Additional overnight travel may be required based on operational needs.
